The federated wiki presumes a creative commons. The proliferation of content found and copied during virtual travels will self-organize into interest relevant clusters. This proposal simply factors physical motion into the landscape.

The simplicity of federated wiki's server side makes bridging with other services straightforward.

Wiki's conceptual model accounts for the duplication and loose synchronization that will be present in the absence of higher-level protocols.

Why Proximity

A traveler could request geocoded information from a global service via the internet. We suggest a solution that is cheaper but more limited. The limitation could be its best feature.

Proximity engenders trust. We expect the devious and powerful will remain in the global space at least for a while. Well prefer to offer our attention to those we can probably see and surely leave.

Direct signaling is robust. Individuals can own and possess all that is needed to communicate. This can be indispensable in a natural disaster though power generation remains centralized in most countries.
